Membership Eligibility
At Guadalupe Credit Union, we invite individuals and families across Northern New Mexico to become part of our community. Membership in this credit union shall be limited to those having a common bond of association, occupation, or residence as follows:
- Individuals employed or residing in Santa Fe County, Mora County, Rio Arriba County, San Miguel County, Taos County, Colfax County, or Torrance County.
- Immediate family members of current GCU members.
- Employees and family members of employees of the Health and Environment, Human Services, and Children Youth and Family Departments of the State of New Mexico.
How to Join GCU
Becoming a member-owner of Guadalupe Credit Union is quick and simple! Follow these steps to get started:
What You’ll Need:
- Photo ID: Any government-issued ID (e.g., Driver's License, Passport, Matricula Consular).
- ITIN Letter or Card (if applicable).
- Proof of Residency or Employment (if your ID shows an address outside of the eligible counties): Bring a pay stub or utility bill confirming you live or work in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, Taos, Torrance, San Miguel, Colfax, or Mora County.
- Funds for Your Account: A $5.00 minimum balance plus a $1.00 one-time membership fee.
